TriLakes OB/GYN, P.C. offers a comprehensive range of gynecologic services. We listen carefully to our patients and provide them with safe, minimally invasive, and up to date treatments. We were the first office in the country to offer Novasure, a 90 second endometrial ablation for the treatment of heavy periods, which has saved many of our patients having to go through a hysterectomy. We were also one of the first offices in the area to offer Essure, permanent birth control without surgery. We are one of few offices that utilize 3D ultrasound for diagnosis of gynecologic disorders.
. Our nursing staff would know where you stand with your treatment plan, prescriptions, and appointments. We track your pap smears and mammograms so even if you forget, we do not.
In view of our geographic isolation, we made excellent relations with many specialist physicians from teaching hospitals to provide our patients with super specialized care when required. We work closely with infertility IVF physicians and gynecologic oncologists as well as breast surgeons and radiation oncologists.

This is one of the most common complaints. There are multiple causes such as endometriosis, adenomyosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, ectopic pregnancy and pelvic congestion. At TriLakes OB/GYN we take a comprehensive history, do a thorough examination, including internal high definition ultrasounds, among other office tests, to come up with the right diagnosis and an appropriate treatment.

Heavy and/or painful menstrual periods are frequent problems. The causes include hormonal changes, fibroids, adenomyosis, polyps, and endometrial hyperplasia which is the least common but most important as it can be precancerous.
At TriLakes OB/GYN we study your uterus thoroughly with an internal sonogram to evaluate the endometrial cavity and obtain samples, as required, to allow for safe, effective, but minimally invasive treatments.
We offer the , a simple 2 minute procedure that can control heavy periods without any incisions or recovery. We also offer the latest in minimally invasive procedures such as laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy (LSH) conserving ovarian and hormonal function as well as minimizing any effect on sexual function.

Human Papiloma Virus (HPV) infections are reaching an epidemic resulting in numerous abnormal pap smears of various grades. We take time to explain to you where you are on the pap scale, your virus status, and your level of risk. We utilize high quality colposcopes for better diagnosis. We adopt expectant management whenever possible or resort to minimally invasive office procedures to protect your long term fertility while keeping you safe. |

We provide infertility workup for you and your partner and offer fertility treatments including ovulation induction with oral medications and injectable gonadotrophins. We provide ultrasound monitoring for ovulation tracking for our patients as well as those attending IVF fertility services to save you frequent traveling to your infertility center. In addition, we host a reproductive endocrinology and IVF consultation clinic every month at our office through the Fletcher Allen Hospital, Burlington. |
