Dr. Kirollos graduated with honors from Ain Shams Medical School, Cairo, Egypt, in 1979. He graduated in the top one percent of his class. He has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology for approximately 24 years.
Dr. Kirollos underwent most of his training in England between 1983 and 1991. He went through an extensive and comprehensive rotational training based in busy National Health Service hospitals affiliated with teaching institutions through out England. Dr. Kirollos attended thousands of deliveries and gynecologic surgeries offering ample opportunity for excellent training.
His training in England was not limited to Obstetrics and Gynecology. It included related areas of practice such as advanced gynecologic surgery, urology, urogynecology, oncology, and infertility. Dr. Kirollos was Board Certified by the British Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of London in 1987. In 1989 he was Board Certified in Gynecologic Surgery by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS). He was recognized by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and offered the college’s permanent fellowship (FRCOG) in 1999. Dr. Kirollos continued to practice in England as an Associate Specialist until 1995 when he moved to the United States. He joined Adirondack Medical Center (AMC), in Saranac Lake, NY as an obstetrician and gynecologist.
Dr. Kirollos continues to offer women of the North Country safe, effective and less invasive procedures to control symptoms and improve their quality of life without a lengthy recovery. In 2002 he introduced the Novasure Endometrial Ablation for the treatment of menorrhagia. Once it received FDA approval, he purchased and used through AMC the first Novasure machine the in the United States. In 2003 he introduced the TVT (tension free vaginal tape for urinary incontinence) to AMC. In 2005 Dr. Kirollos introduced the Essure procedure for tubal ligation to AMC.
Dr. Kirollos enjoys computer programming and woodworking. He has three daughters and is married to Linda, who also works at TriLakes OB/GYN, P.C. |

Mary joined TriLakes OB/GYN, P.C. in 2002. Inspired by her own personal experiences, she has dedicated her professional life to women’s health, especially service to mothers and babies. She has over 19 years experience in the field including in-patient low and high-risk obstetrical nursing, OB/GYN office practice, and family planning.
Mary earned a BS degree in biology from SUNY-ESF in 1983. She received her nursing degree from Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, NY in 1988 and a certificate as Adult Health Nurse Practitioner from Community General Hospital of Syracuse in 1991. She completed her studies in Midwifery at Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in 1999 and is certified by the American College of Nurse Midwifes.
At TriLakes OB/GYN, P.C. she performs annual gynecologic exams, infection checks, cancer screening, prenatal care, colposcopic exams and procedures related to urogynocologic care. She attends deliveries at Adirondack Medical Center, where she is a member of the Adjunct Medical staff. She also assists Dr. Kirollos in the operating room.
An Adirondack resident since 1993, she is married with two sons. She enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, canoeing and gardening.
